Declaration on accessibility
We, the Hotel Adapura Wagrain, endeavor to make our website accessible in accordance with the Accessibility Act as amended for the implementation of the European Accessibility Directive (Directive 2019/882) on the accessibility requirements of products and services.
The Web Content Accessibility Guideline - WCAG 2.2 was complied with as far as possible.
This accessibility statement applies to the website www.adapura-wagrain.com.
Status of compliance with the requirements
This website is only partially compliant with conformance level AA of the "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines Web - WCAG 2.2" due to the following incompatibilities.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:
Incompatibility with accessibility regulations:
Some images and graphics still have inadequate or missing alternative text. This violates the non-textual content success criterion. We endeavor to provide appropriate alternative texts for new content immediately and to revise older content on an ongoing basis.
The deficiencies in the following success criteria will be rectified by our content team and our technical department in the next development cycles, probably by June 2025:
- Individual lists do not have the technical representation as a list.
- Settings for the website prevent functions for enlarging text on mobile devices.
- Content embedded with frame or iframe does not yet have a suitable title.
- A link consists of a link graphic and a link caption. Both have the same text.
- Individual input fields do not have sufficient technically perceptible labeling.
- Individual selection elements are not sufficiently technically labeled.
- Interactive elements are sometimes nested in an inadmissible manner.
- Some links do not have sufficient labeling for assistive technologies.
- Individual control elements are implemented as links, although they do not lead to another page or another area.
The presentation of our web pages is based on current technical possibilities and standards. We have randomly checked the order in which elements in the main content are technically displayed. If you notice any problems with the implementation of individual elements, please let us have your suggestions.
We have also randomly checked our website for visual animations as well as audio and video files. If you find other audiovisual content for which you still need text alternatives or subtitles, or animations that still require interruption mechanisms, please let us know.
Disproportionate load
PDF documents and Office documents, especially older ones, are not barrier-free. For example, PDF documents are not tagged so that screen reader users cannot read and use them properly or at all. This means that WCAG success criterion 4.1.2 (name, role, value) is not fulfilled.

Enforcement procedure
If you do not receive a satisfactory response from the above contact option, you can submit a complaint to the Complaints Office of the Austrian Research Promotion Agency with Limited Liability (FFG). The FFG accepts complaints electronically via the complaints office contact form.
The complaints will be examined by the FFG to determine whether they relate to violations of the provisions of the Web Accessibility Act, in particular deficiencies in compliance with accessibility requirements, by the federal government or an institution attributable to it.
If the complaint is justified, the FFG must make recommendations for action to the federal government or the legal entities concerned and propose measures to remedy the deficiencies.
