The Initiative
MOTHER EARTH is an association of the ORF and the leading environmental and nature conservation organisations in Austria - Alpenverein, BirdLife, GLOBAL 2000, Greenpeace, Naturfreunde, Naturschutzbund, VCÖ and WWF. Each year a different relevant environmental topic is placed at the centre of the joint activities. The aim is to create awareness for the environment, to motivate people to act and to support environmental and nature conservation projects.
